Fantasy Football Week 15 Pickups

Running Backs

Felix Jones:  Back to #1 after Murray broke his ankle.  The running game looked good on Sunday night with the return of FB Tony Fiametta and the line creating lanes for him to speed through.  He’s the top pickup (although probably unavailable), because not only is he the only running back left and motivated, but they get a very advantageous matchup with Tampa Bay next.

  • Kevin Smith, Marion Barber, Ryan Grant, Ben Tate, Donald Brown

Wide Receivers

James Jones: He’ll step in for Greg Jennings who will reportedly miss 2-3 weeks with an injury.  Jones is a solid #2 WR and this is the situation is why he was re-signed.  He’ll see the biggest increase in role among the wide receivers and is more than capable at taking advantage of the opportunity.  Driver is available in about 75% of leagues and Cobb in 90%+.

  • Jabar Gaffney, Demaryius Thomas, Doug Baldwin, Johnny Knox

Tim Tebow: 7-1 since becoming starter with much help from his teammates.  Facing a generous secondary this week and will be in a position to put up his best first half numbers to date.  There is no denying how great Tebow has looked in the fourth quarter and beyond, but this week he will have to produce before then to have a chance to win.  NE’s pass rush isn’t great, so room to roam.

Andy Dalton: Matching up with St. Louis next week where they’re depleted at cornerback.  Green, Gresham, and Simpson are capable of beating them all day long.  Perfect recipe to get right after a rough couple of weeks.

Arizona D/ST: This unit has been playing great lately.  Dockett and Campbell have been leading the push up front, while Peterson leading an improving secondary.  Cleveland offense has struggled for much of the season and can’t be expected to do many things in this spot.
