Fantasy Football Week 13 Pickups

The wire is thin and options vary depending on your league. If you haven’t done so already, it’s important to start lining up your matchups for the playoffs.  Sleepers will be post tomorrow and if you have any questions don’t hesitate to ask.

Quarterback

Vince Young: Likely to start as he is getting all the reps in practice this week. Showed some improvement last week and is worth a look if desperate.

Running Back

Roy Helu: Shanahan realizes what fantasy football owners did weeks ago, that Helu should be getting to ball because he is their best back for this system.  Worth the claim.

Donald Brown: Kinda the opposite, owners have been reluctant to grab him but getting the job done.

Maurice Morris

Wide Receiver

Deion Branch: Invested heavily in Branch and he is stepping up at the right time.  Gotta like every NE Patriot this week.

Torrey Smith: Should see deep targets with a good opportunity to convert.

Doug Baldwin: Solid but not spectacular stats in a great debut season.  Has a chance to put up some numbers versus the Eagles who struggle versus the slot.  Rice is out.

Nate Burleson: Was useful in the beginning of the season with friendly matchups and that’s the case the rest of the season.

Brandon Gibson

Defense

Patriots: Said they were a nice stash a few weeks ago with a friendly schedule and improved D…this right here is one of the gems.

Broncos: Playing like one of the best in the league with a decent matchup vs Minn.
