2011 Fantasy Football Deep Sleepers

In addition to the 2011 FFB Sleepers I’ve posted, and will post each week depending on matchups, some have asked for deeper sleepers, thus here are a couple.  So long as your league doesn’t have a transaction limit, I’d rather play matchups with a couple roster spots if possible.  Might add a few more in the next day and as always, all thoughts (love or hate) are welcome.

Quarterback

Colt McCoy: Really like his schedule and accuracy.  Cheap backup who could have a couple nice games, gets Cincy twice at the least and their secondary has limited depth.

Cam Newton:  By the end of the season should be viable, especially because of rushing yards.  For now, can be had late but has a tough division and needs time to gel w/WRs, etc.

Running Back

Jason Snelling: Turner has looked burned out after carrying a heavy workload and Snelling has excelled when he was played a considerable amount.  With the Falcons going more 3 WR expect Snelling to get more playing time and it could only be a matter of time when he is the go-to or Turner gets hurt.

Kendall Hunter: 49ers got a great value with Hunter in the 4th round.  Gore seemingly misses time every year and Hunter has won the backup job after an impressive preseason.

More: Bernard Scott, D. Karim, Da’Rel Scott

Wide Receiver

Victor Cruz: Oozing with talent, but still needs to learn the intracies of the offense.  Manningham produces against bad teams but is still inconsistent which could leave the door open for the impress second year play.

Steve Breaston:  Slowed by off-season surgery and trying to rebound after a poor 2010 campaign, the opportunity is there for him opposite of Dwayne Bowe with Baldwin recovering and Moeaki out for the year.

Adrian Arrington: In line for nice production if Colston’s knee acts up, plays same position…check 2010 preseason or when Colston missed in 2010.

More: B. Berrian, Cecil Shorts, Mark Clayton

Tight End: Evan Moore: one of the most productive per play last year, showed good chemistry and could be a focal point.

Kicker: Alex Henery

D/ST: Houston, Denver
