Texas vs. The Nation (NFLPA) Recap and Scouts’ Standouts

Eddie Jones tackled Damien Berry at the one yard line on fourth down with less than one minute to go securing a 13-7 victory for Texas vs. The Nation.  Taylor Potts led the Texas squad on two scoring drives in his first two opportunities (9-for-15 for 107 yards and a touchdown). Damien Berry, a RB from Miami, scored a 72 yard touchdown for the nation (@ 1:58 of video link at bottom).  It is unanimous among scouts that Kendrick Ellis was the best player in the game and looks to be a second round pick.  The game’s MVP was Roberto Davis (DE) who ended up in the backfield regularly making a sack and forcing a fumble on the day.
