Senior Bowl: South Wednesday Practice

Quick Hits

  • Bilal Powell: Louisville was in the dumps this season but Powell did not get the message as he ran for over 1400 yards.
  • Greg McElroy: Interesting prospect who has done a lot of winning when he’s played but sat for a reason. ¬†Still more impressive than many thought and would make a solid backup.
  • Hankerson: The all-time leading receiver at the U made some plays in practice including catching a 40 yard ball, nevertheless there are guys I like more than him and I tend to think he’s limited.
  • Christian Ponder: much better day, looks good but it’s not like there’s a lot of QB talent here.
  • Von Miller: Best player in Mobile

OL v DL

Zimba: immediately upright
McFee: 2/3 round pick looks solid.
Sherrod: didn’t look as good as he did on Tuesday but he seems like a safe pick as I mentioned either late first or early second.
Phil Taylor: Lots of talk about this beast who can play nose in a 3-4.  Weighing in at 337 lbs and showed quickness. Can be an anchor.

Potential first round guards:
Pouncey
Wisniewski
