Fantasy Football: Week 13 Playoff Sleepers Part II
More players to consider this week, be sure to check out the earlier post for my first options with detailed writeups.
Mike Thomas: The Jaguars have ruled out Mike Sims-Walker making Mike Thomas the only real threat at WR and a good candidate for a bunch of catches. Marcedes Lewis should have a big game as one would expect.
Jordan Shipley: The rookie has played well out of the slot, despite being overshadowed and ignored when the game is close. Luckily this week Cincy plays New Orleans and there should plenty of garbage stats for Shipley to accumulate.
Jacoby Ford: Ford keeps making big plays, and Heyward-Bey is going to be benched as a result with Ford garnering the start this week. Has already produced w/Campbell at the helm and Cason of SD is definitely the weaker of the two corners.
Derrick Mason: A sleeper for this week, thought I’d mention that he missed some practice with an illness but should play.
Tashard Choice: Barber is out this week and Felix Jones is banged up as usual, finally putting Choice on the field. You could do worse than him, conservatively 10-12 touches.
Mohamed Massaquoi: A pickup now that Delhomme is back under center. The two have had solid chemistry this season. Obviously keep expectation tempered with this offense.
Danario Alexander: Played only 20 snaps last week and still led the Rams in receiving with 95 yards. We’ll see how much more he is slated to play this week before naming him a sleeper but AZ pass D gives up big plays.
Anthony Dixon: Westbrook has been banged up this week so a split might be more likely than ever w/Dixon preferred at the goalline. Nevertheless, I am not as excited about this matchup for the 49ers than next week versus Seattle where Dixon and Westbrook might both be plays.
Tony Moeaki: He returned last week to score TD and has great matchups the next two weeks.
